Nostro Destino SRL (“Nostro Destino”, the controller), registered at Hoogstraat 29A, 3530 Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium, company number BE 0737.986.391, e-mail info@nostro-destino.be, explains here in summary which personal data this website processes and how. We process personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018.
1. What we process
If you use the contact form or e-mail us: your name, your e-mail address, your phone number if you give it, and the content of your message.
If you book by phone: your name, phone number and booking details. That processing happens outside this website.
If you load the Google Maps map on the contact page, your IP address is passed to Google. That only happens after you have given consent.
The site has no user accounts and processes no payments. The booking screen at /en/reserveren/ is a design: it stores nothing and sends nothing.
2. Why, and on what basis
We use your data only to answer and follow up your question or booking request, to keep the site working safely, and to meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are the performance of a contract or steps leading up to it, our legitimate interest in communicating with you, and legal obligation.
Your data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling, and is never sold or rented to third parties.
3. How long we keep it
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Data that has to be kept for accounting purposes is kept for the legally required period.
4. Who receives it
Our hosting provider processes the site on our behalf. Google receives your IP address only when you load the map, and only after your consent. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@nostro-destino.be.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
6. Cookies and external content
We place no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies of our own. We ask your consent only for external content that sets cookies itself: the Google Maps map on the contact page and the YouTube videos on the retreat pages.
